What this website collects, and what it does not.

This policy covers this website only. It does not cover the clinical records we keep for families who become clients, which are handled separately and under stricter rules.

Please do not send health information through this site

Our contact form sends an ordinary email. Email is not a secure or private channel, and this website is not a place to put protected health information. Please do not use the form to tell us your child’s diagnosis, medical history, medications, therapies, or insurance identifiers.

Once we speak, we will collect what we need through channels built for it. The form exists only to start a conversation.

What the contact form collects

When you submit the form, we receive exactly four things:

• Your name.
• Your email address.
• Your phone number.
• The message you wrote.

That message is emailed to our business inbox and nowhere else. It is not saved to a database, not written to a file on the web server, and not passed to any marketing platform, advertising network, or customer relationship tool. We do not sell or rent your information, and we never will.

Your message lives in our email inbox, where we keep it as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of who we have spoken with. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie, and only on the contact page. It is a standard PHP session cookie that lets us confirm the form was submitted from our own page rather than forged by someone else. It contains no information about you, and it disappears when you close your browser.

There is no advertising cookie, no tracking pixel, and no analytics. We do not know how many people visit this site or what they click. The site runs no JavaScript at all.

Fonts loaded from Google

The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts. When your browser draws these pages it requests those font files from Google, which means Google sees your IP address and browser type, as it would for any website using the same service. We receive nothing from Google in return, and no cookie is set by it.

Server logs

Our web host records standard access logs: the IP address of each visitor, the time of the request, and which page was requested. These are created by the hosting software, are used to diagnose problems and abuse, and rotate away on the host’s ordinary schedule. If sending your message fails, our server records that the failure happened and why. It does not record what you wrote.

Children

This website is written for parents and caregivers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child through it. Please do not enter your child’s name or details into the contact form.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted on its way to us. After that it travels as email, with the ordinary limits of email. That is exactly why we ask you to keep health information out of it.

Changes

If we change how this site handles your information, we will change this page and update the date at the top of it.
